Help! Not Just Anybody, Help! You Know I Need Someone…
Well shit. I totally just realized that Thanksgiving is 2 weeks away. That’s right. T-W-O. Holy crap. I’m slightly freaking out because we’re hosting family for Thanksgiving this year for the first time. And not just like one or two family members, we’ll have a table set for seven. Oh, did I mention that this is my first time cooking Thanksgiving, let alone just a freaking dinner, for that many people?! And yeah, I don’t eat meat and have to make a bird. Oh. My. God. The stress sweats are real.
Ok, advice y’all, what do I do? What do I make? HELP! I mean, obvi the bird. I was thinking of ordering a Honeybaked Ham too in case I screw up the bird there’s back up meat? LOL! So what else? Mashed potatoes? Green beans? What’s required for a good Thanksgiving feast? Adam and I have gone out to dinner for the past million years for the holiday so I feel so out of the loop on what’s required. Again…do you hear the stress in my voice?
Only thing I do know is that I’ll be wearing this top on Thanksgiving. Because no matter what I cook, I know I’ll be stuffing my face and need plenty of belly room and camouflage for when I unbutton my pants under the table. Who else does this when they sit down? This Madewell chambray top is so soft and effortless. I could even dress it up for dinner with a statement necklace if I wasn’t in the mood for earrings. But let’s be real, I’m always in the mood for earings. Ok, I’m ready for your comments on what I need to do/not do for my first Thanksgiving with my in-laws…help!
